If you want to know how to increase website traffic the quick way then you will need to work a little bit, or pay for the traffic. I’ve not seen any kind of traffic promotion that pumps out thousands of visitors overnight. And when it does, it’s usually a 1-time fluke.
The key to increase website traffic is persistance. Whatever traffic method you are using, you must stick to and keep building upon. You must put in some effort with proven methods, and when you do, you will naturally start to see more traffic, an increase in leads, and as a result and increase to your bottom line.
When we look at traffic strategies we often think “Ah, you have to advertise”. But it couldn’t be further from the truth. You do not need any money to start driving serious amounts of traffic, but of course, it does help A LOT if you do!
There are literally only 3 ways to increase your website traffic and that is:
- Buy the traffic
- Create the traffic
- Borrow the traffic
When you buy traffic you are using methods such as banners, media buys, pay per click, pay per view, buying email lists, ezines, “automated hits” which are more likely fake than anything else and a bunch of other methods.
Each method can be used differently. You can buy PPC from search engines, from content networks from various places such as Yahoo, Google and Bing/MSN. These are the major 3, but there are many more places you can start buying traffic.
The only thing I highly recommend staying away from is “$20 for 10,000 hits” offers. These are complete BS and it will not bring in a single sale! It’s usually pixels on adult websites, so when they view an adult website, your site is loaded in a 1×1 pixel, through a “forwarder” to make it seem like you got a hit, when of course, you didn’t… or you did, but they saw 1×1 pixel of your site, which isn’t too convincing.
The other method is creating it. This can involve posting content and valuable resources online. If they are good enough people will start to link to them and eventually you start to gain more and more visitors to your website or blog. This speaks for itself, really. Articles, videos, audios etc
The last method is “borrow it”, this can be done in many ways, but more often than not it includes a person sharing your content or website with the email list or subscriber base. Simple enough =) It can be “I put my article on your high traffic blog” you get new content and traffic, I get traffic and exposure, win/win.
These are just some methods on how to increase website traffic quickly. For more information I highly suggest you get your hands on my Free Traffic Methods course.
